Valentine’s Day Playdate at Hyde House (Tampa) | Young at Heart
Big Hearts, Brave Moves
Valentine’s Day Playdate at Hyde House
February 14, 2026 • Hyde House • Tampa, FL
If you walked into Hyde House on February 14, you felt it immediately.
It wasn’t just the Valentine’s energy or the kid giggles—it was the vibe of a room where people actually wanted to stay. Kids trying something brave. Parents lingering with coffee in hand. Conversations stretching past the “quick stop” window.
This was a Young at Heart playdate, yes.
But it also felt like the start of a real Tampa tradition.
We moved, we breathed, we played. Some brave moves were loud and wiggly. Some were quiet and steady. All of them counted.
And the art table—led beautifully by Zebrina Lee of Art + Healing—quietly became its own little friendship hub: kids creating, parents chatting, everyone softening.
What this was (and what it’s becoming)
The Hyde House playdate was our way of gathering the Young at Heart community as we prepare to launch preschool programs across Tampa. We celebrated the families who’ve trusted us through our afterschool programs and teamed up with local partners to create a day that felt light, connected, and meaningful - playful movement, mindful moments, creativity, and community, all in one place. Because kids deserve spaces where brave feels fun, and parents deserve moments that feel a little easier.
