Baby + Me Yoga at The Bunny Hive (Odessa) | Young at Heart
There’s a certain kind of magic that happens when a room full of parents and little ones collectively exhales—and that’s exactly what we felt at our recent Baby + Me yoga pop-up at The Bunny Hive in Odessa.
It was cozy, calm, pumpkin-packed, and honestly? The kind of morning that makes you want to bottle the feeling and keep it in your diaper bag forever.
This wasn’t just mommy-and-me yoga. It was mindful movement wrapped in fall magic — perfect for families in the Tampa Bay area looking for something gentle, connected, and actually grounding.
The Bunny Hive: A Deep-Breath Kind of Space
Every time we walk into The Bunny Hive, it feels like someone turned the volume down on the world (in the best way).
The space is clean, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed — a low-stress, low-sensory environment where you can connect without feeling rushed or overstimulated. It genuinely feels like a modern village.
We love what The Bunny Hive stands for: a place where families can take classes together — movement, music, sensory play, connection - all in one gorgeous studio.
Our Pumpkin Patch Yoga Adventure 🎃
For this Odessa pop-up, we created a signature Young at Heart Baby + Me Yoga Adventure, fall edition.
Instead of “just poses,” we move through a story together. Because kids learn through play - and grownups get to be in it with them (not just managing it… relatable).
Here’s the little adventure we went on:
1) Hello, Autumn Wind
Gentle rocking and slow arm swirls — breathing together, arriving together.
2) The Tall Cornfield
Growing tall, rooting down, swaying side-to-side — balance for littles and grounding for parents.
3) Silly Scarecrow Shapes
A little wobble, a lot of giggles, and those tiny focus wins.
4) Bunny Hops + Friendly Waves
We had to honor The Bunny Hive — joyful hops, just enough energy without tipping into chaos.
5) Cozy Pumpkin Curls
Curling small, opening wide — soft pacing, baby-safe movement, and snuggly pauses.
6) The Pumpkin Parade Celebration
Shaking out wiggles, then practicing coming back to calm.
7) Candle Breath Close
Slow exhales like blowing out birthday candles — hands to heart, nervous systems softer, everyone leaving lighter.
What we loved most
This class wasn’t about perfect poses. It was about the small moments that actually matter:
Babies watching big kids like they’re starring in a Broadway show
Toddlers confidently leading their grownups
Parents exchanging that “oh, you too?” smile
The relief of being in a space that supports calm connection without pressure
That’s why we’re so passionate about building real postpartum community in Tampa Bay and beyond.
Support doesn’t always look dramatic.
Sometimes it looks like a quiet room, shared laughter, and a few deep breaths with someone who gets it.
